Here are photos of a tea set presented to "Mrs. Lowndes of Arthurlie" in 1825 by the Relief Congregation of Dumfries. Captions imbedded in the files give the inscriptions engraved on each piece.

(Just north of our home in Stafford County, Virginia is the village of Dumfries in Prince William County.)
